Cleveland Cavaliers Sweep Toronto Raptors With A 128-93 Win In Game Four Of The Eastern Conference Semi-Finals

The Cleveland Cavaliers destroyed the Toronto Raptors in game-four of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals 128-93. The Cavaliers sweep the Raptors, and the Cavaliers will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Cavaliers will take on the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. LeBron James led the way with 29 points on 12 of 19 from the field, to go along with eight rebounds, 11 assists, and two steals. Kevin Love put in 23 points on 8 of 13 from the field, plucked six rebounds, stripped away two steals, and blocked two shots.

Kyle Korver scored 16 points on 6 of 8 from the floor, and hit four three-pointers. J.R. Smith tossed in 15 points on a perfect 6 of 6 from the field, gathered two steals, and knocked down three triples. George Hill managed 12 points on 5 of 8 from the floor, and dished out five assists. Larry Nance Jr. added eight points on a perfect 4 of 4 from the field, and blocked two shots in six minutes off the bench. Jeff Green registered eight points on 3 of 7 from the floor, and pulled down four rebounds off the pine.

The Cavaliers shot an incredible 59.5 percent from the field, and shot 46.2 percent on 12 of 26 from three-point range. All of Cavaliers starters scored in double figures. The Cavaliers out-scored the Raptors in the paint 64 to 52. The Cavaliers played a great game at both ends of the floor. The Cavaliers swept the Raptors in this series, and the Raptors had the best record in the Eastern Conference. The Cavaliers will head to Boston to play against the Boston Celtics in game-one on Sunday in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Jonas Valanciunas said, “They wanted it more than us, that’s about it. It was the mental stuff, not the basketball stuff that hurt us the most. It’s not like we didn’t want to (win). We wanted to, but I think it was the frustration. We just lost our head.”

For the Raptors, Jonas Valanciunas led the way with 18 points on 7 of 14 from the field, including six rebounds, and three blocks in 16 minutes off the bench. DeMar Derozan pitched in 13 points on 5 of 11 from the floor, and snatched five rebounds. Derozan was ejected from the game in the third quarter for receiving a flagrant two foul. Serge Ibaka totaled 12 points on 5 of 8 from the field.

Delon Wright contributed 10 points on 4 of 7 from the field off the pine. Pascal Siakam amassed nine points on 3 of 4 from the floor off the bench. The Raptors shot 45.6 percent from the field, and shot merely 26.7 percent on 4 of 15 behind the three-point line. This was a disappointing ending to the Raptors season as they had the number one seed in the Eastern conference. The Raptors had no answers for the Cavaliers, and the Raptors end up getting swept. The Raptors had a chance to win games one and three in this series, but they did not pull off the win.
